Hana Sakioka (they/them) is a recent graduate from California State University, Long Beach where they received a bachelor’s degree in Theatre with a focus on Technical Theatre. They took every opportunity to grow their skills and passion for Lighting and Projection design.

Over their career, they have designed lights for American Distortion, Art, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, and other shows. They also design projections for Eurydice, Mr. Burns, a Post Electric Play, Rocky Horror Picture Show, and more. Lighting design was Hana’s first passion, but projection/video design has become more of a main focus in their design career.

Their upcoming projects are Matilda with Yaya’s Performance Academy and Mary Poppins Jr with West Arts Productions.
